If you already own this record, i’m sure you don’t ask yourself ‘is this one of the best ever records ever made’ because you know the answer. This is the best copy of this all time masterpiece that i’ve ever found. Even tho DEBUT pressings have the same reputation as the worst BYG pressings – this copy is a fantastic listen. Plays with occasional noise (as with all DEBUT orig) but with a super deep/warm and luscious sound. The version of ‘summertime’ is undoubtedly one of the best, with its drunken avant goodness that brings you into a world comparable to ‘blade runner’ meets ‘cat on a hot tin roof”. One of THE best records ever recorded. In all my years as a record Hunter this is THE best copy ive ever seen. So, don’t delay, you’re chance to hear the birth of avant cool jazz – buy today :)
