Here is one very rare record for the hall of fame, a unique unreleased, one of a kind instrumental 4 track 10″ acetate of the first ep by Ronnie Bird. This 33rpm 10″ cut at ‘Studio Area’ (paris) is one sided and has the 4 tracks from the very first Bird release. Its an RCA acetate, with written on the label by hand: Orchestra: Mickey Baker – Cut for: Ronald Méhu (aka: R.Bird) – Dated: 20/04/64 a very short clip is available below.. Call your bank manager to take him out to lunch or sell your Porche and make me an offer for this once in a lifetime chance to own this rarity… I have some other unreleased Bird Demo acetates of unknown tracks, details on request. Rare very limited first issue of 1.001 Centigrades. Has now become so rare, almost impossible to find. This is the cover that was requested by the band, but the manager and label preferred the volcano cover, so the ‘Magma 2 silver’ was pulled. The cover is in great condition, with very light creasing on edge, and a little corner wear. the Vinyl is NM.. Rare Paris session with the Arvanitas trio feat: Jacky Samson, Charles Saudrais and George arvanitas. Recorded at the Bilboquet on the 24th of october 1973. Chris is particularly on form in this recording, with angelic flute solos and deep alto-sax workouts.. Fantastic lp, highly recommended. Cover has a signature on the back otherwise very clean. Disk is near perfect.. lovely & rare.
