Rare library only jazz dance monster by The AGE GROUP which are Civetenga & Cestana, both well known Italian Jazzers. A load of great tracks on this rarity, but the stand out groove is the monster latin jazz dance “latin fire” that runs for over 7 minutes.. Super rare micro press on the USIGNOLO label from Roma. Well it does, and its amazing – not only does contain amazing eastern bossa, but also great jazz from the finest french session players. Give it a listen – 12 tracks of eastern crossover niceness. First ep by franco-belgium singer on the cult BEL-AIR label. Features the wonderful “j’ai vu sur la tamise” which is a sort of dark repetitive 6/8 modal number about loneliness and heartache, with nihilistic undertones. Perfect arrangements by Clyde “the man” Borly. Check the audio out for a full blast of this unknown classic. The skip in the mp3 link is not on record, its my old soundcard giving me stick (literally) Perfect for your next jazz party me thinks.. One for the heads..

Another fantastic lp from the studios of PATCHWORK. This time were in the the dark phantasmagoric world of Deblais, known for his soundtrack work and for his collaboration with the grandiose Jean Cohen-Solal. This lp is full of what you need, we have ondes Martenot workouts with deeply strange guitar work and bizarre percussive effects, all put together with remarkable compositional skill. If you’re a fan of Macchi or the stranger lps by Framond then you’ll like this one. Personally i like to listen to this sort of music in the morning, perfect with croissant.. RARE & SPOOKY

Library only lp by drum/percussion maestro in rare electronic & experimental mode. Its simple, if unique electronics are your thing then just check the audio. Sadly Boulanger is responsible for one side only, but don’t let that put you off as its a rare look at what he can achieve on the dark side + the other side is also of high quality but not as exciting (by Vercy, Mercier) I really wish there was more of this material recorded by Boulanger, lets hope he reads this and drops me a line eh.. Very rare private press from Finland by Erkki Kurenniemi and Jukka RuohomÃ¤ki. Erkki is a pioneer of electronic art in Finland, a former nuclear scientist who composed computer-based music and designed his own instruments at Helsinki University’s Department of Music during in the early sixties. Jukka RuohomÃ¤ki (1947) is a self-taught composer who has specialised almost entirely in electroacoustic music. He started working in 1970 at the Electronic Music Studio of Helsinki Universityâ€™s Department of Musicology with Erkki Kurenniemi his guide and tutor. As you can see this is an historic little record that’s not to be missed. Check the audio for some goodness from Finland. Light noise can be heard in the quiet middle part.

Super rare french only compilation of original Afro funk goodies, all recorded by the ARTISTE AFRICAINS ASSOCIÃ‰S (paris) in the 70s. Not much is know about AAA as this record is so scarce, but what is known is that its fkg fantastic. Just check the audio for a taster of the amazing tracks on here. Some of you will be familiar with the Alan Shelly masterpiece ‘MachÃ©’ which we were lucky enough to have a copy for sale some time back. First ever copy found by me, and one of a couple know.
